21 weeks Post-Baby #2 - My Goal went BUST!

First, the good news. Looking at my backside doesn't make me wanna cry anymore.

Second, the bad news. Sizing myself up in the mirrors of Hot Yoga (that's 90 minutes of looking at yourself-ahhhh!) made me realize my hips, inner thighs and lower abs could use some work! Now my inner thighs always have been a trouble spot - hips and lower abdomen are totally new trouble spots.

Third, more bad news. My boobs continue to shrink back to 5th grade.

Ah well, I'm trying! And if I wasn't working out I would be goop with fat knees (experienced the fat knees at the end of my pregnancy and afterwards and I'd prefer not to go there again).

Rylan was 5 months old yesterday and my scale has not budged lately, still hovering around 110. My goal was to get back to my pre-pregnany weight of 108, and eventually to about 105 (at 5'1" this is when my "phase 1 skinny jeans" fit!)

I'm sure it had nothing to do with my eating:) I enjoyed eating out way too much while at the lake with the family. And this upcoming weekend is a trip to Austin with my college girlfriends. So I will be realistic - I'll be pre-pregnancy size when Rylan is 6 months old!!!

Next goal, go 1 week without being sore! Once this happens I know I am in good shape.



  1. Wow, I didn't realize how close our babies are in age. My son, Joseph, turns 5 months old today and my plan had been pre-preg weight by 5 months. Well, mine went bust too. I'm 5 lbs away and have been for about a month now. :( Keep trucking along. We'll get there!

  2. My son is 5months and 1 week today and i'm still 15 lbs from my prepreg weight. :0( I'm still working on it though. Just recently have I gotten really strict with my diet, really cleaned it up and the scale is starting to budge. Workin' hard! Keep it up everyone and Thank You Lindsay for your website. It's awesome and very inspiring!!

  3. Way to go! You seriously inspire me. It took me 9 months to a year with my second. (Pregnant again, pretty nervous for how long this one could take) :)

    I'm looking forward to trying out your shed 5 fast and bootcamp DVD's. We have very similar measurements except that I'm a whopping 5'4". :)

    I'm just hoping I can get your ab definition - it's a little hard to see my abs through my stretch marks. Blah! Keep up the good work!

  5. Wow Lindsay looking great! I had a cheat (extended)weekend and felt so down about it...

    I've not worked out in 4 days and all last week I just did the minimum - basically 1 video 3x a week. Uggg feeling so bloated and lazy...

    then I come and read about your cheat and see your pix and it reminded me that I'm human and life happens... I just need to get back to it.

    Keep up to awesome work and keep posting - it's a true inspiration.
