Should we workout when we're sick?

So one of my moms asked me if she can workout when she is sick so I thought I'd share the General Rule of Thumb!

If the sickness is below your throat (bronchitis, throwing up etc.) it's best not to workout...and of course eat what you can and stay hydrated.

If your sickness is above your throat and you feel ok you should be able to continue working out, as long as you don't run a high fever. You can probably maintain your current eating habits - whether it be for weight loss or weight maintenance.

If you are pregnant and sick you just need to listen to your body and feed it what it wants i.e. sleep, water, soup!
