  2. You are sooo cute!!! I can totally see a difference in your body. Your abs are extremely defined!

Remind me again how many cals you eat a day when you're working out ever day.

I was at 1200 but it doesn't feel like enough...

  3. Thank you for speaking on late night eating. I work until 10 PM two nights a week, and I'm never sure whether its okay to eat dinner when I get home or not... but I'm nursing and starving!

Thanks for being an adorable person. You help keep things in perspective and remind me that its best to be a mom first, and then worry about my scale. My baby is 10 weeks and I have 15 lbs to go to hit my pre prego weight.

  4. Fiddle, that's awesome! I hate plateaus...but we gotta push through them!

Vanessa, I am probably between 1400 and 1600 right now. Soon I will probably go to 1400 or less depending where my metabolim settles! Still in postpartum mode:)

Becki - especially when nursing go for it! And when you're done nursing its fine too, as long as it's your only dinner. Metabolisms don't care.

  5. Hey Lindsay, You are doing awesome! I'm so inspired - I have a question, though. I'm experiencing a plateau, and some friends have suggested cutting out carbs. Will this really make me lose weight again? They are saying this will make the fat peel off my body. I have always done balanced dieting - you know, count carbs, eat a combo of fruit, veggetables, carbs and some healthy fat. On the other hand, I am a bit discouraged. I only want to reduce carbs if this is likely to get rid of the plateau. What do you think about low-carbing it?

  6. Hey Marci! If you are going to cut out carbs I only recommend doing it for a few days. It may help you get off the plateau. But at the same time - if you do without carbs for too long, the second you add them back in your body gains rapidly. So that's why I only say do it a few days.

  7. Hey lindsay, thanks so much for the feedback:). I'm not too excited about reducing carbs, so I'm really glad to hear that reducing only for a few days is optimal anyhow. I will try it for the few days :)

  8. THANK YOU so much for posting the pictures and videos of yourself postpartum. I admire your bravery and confidence. I am 7 wks postpartum with #2 and was feeling awful about how much longer it is taking this time to get back into my clothes! I wish more people would publicly talk about how hard it is so that we moms don't feel so alone in the struggle. You have given me hope that with more hard work, my body will eventually get back to normal!
