  1. Hi Lindsay,

I have your four set pregnancy DVD's and on there you mention something about a yoga section. I haven't been able to find it and am wondering how I can get to it.

    Thanks!

    1. Target only licensed the cardio/toning workouts but the intro video is the same as seen on our miF videos with the added yoga. I apologize for the confusion!

If you want the yoga its available starting at $9.95 for downloads on www.momsintofitness.com

    2. Lindsay,

I was wondering about the same thing. Is okay to replace the pregnancy yoga with the yoga section on the Post-natal boot camp DVD?

      Delete
    3. Sorry, but you should stick to prenatal yoga. I wish I coudl be more helpful:)

    4. Sorry I am still confused. If I own the 4 set DVD is there a yoga section or no it does not exist on that one and you must buy the separate yoga download you mention above? If it is on the dvd set where do you locate it? Thanks :)

  2. I am week 7 of the 60 day slimdown and have lost 10lbs! But the most impressive part to me is how strong my abs have gotten! I still have a little tummy weight loss to go but I am starting to see my six pack and I can definitaly feel it!
I did sports in high school and was somewhat fit but that was 12 years ago and I haven't done formal exercise since. I had my second baby 5 months ago and knew that it was time to change something.
I love the CFS method and have experienced great results from it. Thank you so much Lindsay for kicking me into shape!!!

  3. Hi Lindsey,
Thank you for the invaluable info on your sites! I'm a mom of two under two, my little one is 3.5 weeks old and I really want to get in shape again. After the 6 weeks postpartum mark i want to start using your program. I live all the way in Saudi Arabia, so what would you recommend the downloads or dvds? And what exercise tapes should i follow? Im confused on the cfs and bootcamp thing... Please help me out!
    Thanks,
    Mariam.

  4. Hello Lindsay,

I have been doing the CFS Method for a couple of weeks now but I am still on Phase 1. (I am slowly taking my time)I do have one question when it comes to activating your core. You stress the importance of always activating the core when doing the exercises in your video which means holding in your stomach and squeezing your ab muscles??? I know that you have repeated this probably a million times but I would appreciate if you could elaborate on it a little more.
    Thank You!!!!!!!!

  5. Our DVDs are coded Region 0 so I think they would work for you. But downloads might be the easiest to access! I would try the Beginner or Veteran Postnatal Download Pack. Both will take you through the CFS Core Sequence stuff.

And Mimi, it is one of the hardest things to do!!! probably took me 3 months to make it a habit. Just always think about saying the word "hut" which makes you pull those inner core muscles in and up. Does that help?

  6. heyy lindsay,

yes that does help. its just hard to keep that "position" all throughout the workouts. i feel like just doing that alone is extra energy. thank u

  7. Hi Lindsay, I just did the first workout in the 60 slim down today. Everything I've read on your site has been great information. I have 4 kids and my youngest is just 2 1/2. I have diastis recti and 2 small hernias (one under belly button and one just above). The surgeon told me he could stitch my muscles together at the same time he fixes my hernias. Have you ever heard of this?

    ReplyDelete
  8. I sure have! When you need to have the hernias fixed most doctors will have the muscles taken care of too. It will help you recover faster. Keep me posted on your post-surgery progress. Afterwards you will want to start slow with the core workouts. Either Phase 1 of the CFS Method or Core 1 in Boot Camp 2. Both workouts will progress your abs back to normal.

  9. Ok, muffin top fixing is what this mom of 5 posting needs to work on :P
I gotta say your Postnatal Boot Camp is the only thing keeping me sticking to a routine. It feels good to advance a week in the 12 week workout, and it's a ton of fun!!
Apparently, others agree because I've been getting hits to my review on that DVD on my site. Here's looking to working with your instruction on not having a mummy tummy...

  11. So this is totally off topic : ) but how did you curl your hair? I know I should be focused more on the exercises but I just love your curl.

  12. watching this video its nice to have watched you going through your post pregnancy workouts because otherwise i would never believe that you didn't give birth with a six pack the day after. (longest run-on ever?) great video!

  13. Bloggerina, as much as I hate my post-pregnancy rear-end I think everyone loves seeing my cellulite:)

The curl in my hair...it's because I didn't do it that it looks good! I am lucky to have somebody do my hair/makeup when we film, otherwise it woudl be in a pony! But I think she used a curling iron and curled half of it while wrapping the ends of my hair around the iron barrel. Does taht help?

  14. Hey Lindsay,

I am on phase two of the CSF method and am 7 months post baby and I am in love!! People have been commenting on how good my tummy is looking. I am 2 weeks away from phase 3! Can't wait for the challenge. I have told everyone who asks where to find your website! Thanks again for this quick and easy to follow work out.

  15. Hi Lindsay,
I'm half way through the 30 day total core workout and seeing great results. My ab muscles are becoming more defined but I still have a bit of fat on top to lose. I only have about 4cm left to lose so very happy that I'm almost there. I feel like I need a good cardio blast to get rid of it. Which of your cardio workouts do you suggest would be best to lose that last bit of tummy fat?
    Thanks
    Jules

  16. Jules, take a peek at the free workouts here on the blog (hit the button at the top). There are some great cardio workouts, most of which I love doing myself!

    1. Chantel, congrats! I would recommend doing it on days 1, 3 and 5 in conjuction with the PNBC workouts. Do Phase 1 for 3 weeks, Phase 2 for 3 weeks, then Phase 3 for 3 weeks. You can also get the calendar, email Jess at themoms@momsintofitness.com

  18. Hey Lindsay, Love your videos. I have boot camp 2, core fitness for moms, and the cfs method and was wondering what you recommended as far as a schedule. Not sure how I should combine them throughout the week. I have an almost 3 year old and almost 1 year old and no matter what Ive done, I cant seem to lose that lower belly pooch even though Im fit and thin everywhere else and Im 10 lbs below my pre-pregnancy weight. I also walk every day with the kids in the double stroller. Ive had some back issues so also looking for exercise that is less impact and I didnt know if I should just follow either beginner or intermediate for more low impact in your videos. Thanks for any suggestions. Jennifer

    1. Jennifer, hey! With the back issues, let's lay off of Boot Camp 2 for a few weeks and follow this schedule:

      M: CFFM sculpt workout
T: Stroller Cardio, add some running intervals if your back is up to it + Boot Camp 2 Core #1 (it might help your back issues)
      W: CFFM yoga workout
R: T: Stroller Cardio, add some running intervals if your back is up to it
      F: CFFM any workout

Let me know when your back is better!

  19. So I'm 6 weeks postpartum and ready to get things going again not just cuz my birthday is a month away and soon it will be summer here as well but my question is
Which workout video would you recommend to a first time mother looking at your DVDs?
I've be using your 10 min HIIT cardio and Core#1 thats been posted on YouTube. I had a c-section delivery due to having a breech baby but he is amazing Christmas gift. Soon I'll be going back to work fulltime (cook) while still trying to keep breastfeeding. So i will only have little time to workout. I would want to get maximum workout with what time i got to spare. I do love those workout that I've been doing.
My goal is to get back to 145 lbs or to a size 7 and get some abs, I've always had a flat stomach never had a pack. Currently im 175 lbs, size 13, 5'7, and a flat stomach with alittle more tub than normal ;-) so what dvd should i get, im confused with which one of the bootcamps or slimdown should i get?

    1. I am so happy you are planning ahead. It's tough to juggle, but I know you can do it.

Go for Postnatal SlimDown, it will get the most out of little time. It also comes with a calendar to follow - or mix n' match as you like!

  21. I'm excited. My second is 8 months old and in spite of discouraged because, in spite of exercising regularly, my waistline has not slimmed down much, After Baby 1, I was pretty effortlessly back down to 28 inch waist at 7 months (I remember cuz I was in my brother's wedding and had to give my measurements! I've never done anything intense, but I eat well and was running some and walking a lot). At this point, I haven't been able to get under 32 and and my belly has just not made me happy. I knew I had a diastasis, but about a week ago, I measured it again and realized I had a deep 3 finger and it seemed to be getting worse. Time to get serious. I have been doing your CFS Phase 1 every other day for a week and couldn't believe when I saw 31 inches last night. An inch in a week! :) I'm really looking forward to slimming down the rest of the way! I still have 10 lbs of breastfeeding weight, but I can live with that until I wean. I'm so happy to wave goodbye to that little pooch and get my abs in better shape than ever. They used to be my best feature and I've missed them! That was long, but I'm excited, if you can't tell!

    1. Postnatal Slimdown provides all sorts of modifications for diastasis recti. You can get it at Target or online at Amazon. 6 kids, awesome for you! I am pausing at 3, hoping to have 5 kiddos:)

    2. ok thanks! I have that one in my amazon cart. Would core firing sequence or boot camp 2 be better to go along with the postnatal slimdown? I am 2 weeks post-delivery and preparing to start exercising when I am given the ok by my doctor. I am so excited to start using these!

    3. You will be good with just Postnatal Slimdown - we use a lot of tyne same methods found in CFS. Sorry for the delayed response!!!

  23. Hello! I am expecting baby number 4 via c section in August! I have been working ouy throughout this pregnancy and am looking for a postnatal dvd workout. Would you recommend boot camp 2 with the cfs method dvd or the post natal slim down or both? The reviews have motivated me, but I know I will be super busy when this baby comes! Thanks in advance! Cherie

    1. Cherie, hi! #4, how exciting! Sorry for my delayed response, summer has me behind in everything!

I would say Postnatal SlimDown, but either will work! SlimDown is the most recent one we filmed last summer - and its actually just fresher workouts combining the CFS Method with 10 minute intervals. You will get results from either!

  27. Lindsay,
My mom is an exercise guru and bought your Postnatal SlimDown for me before I had my first. I am eight weeks postpartum and surprised to find myself excited to exercise! Thank you for having such short workouts and the awesome app to track it all! Despite my mom's exercise expertise, I'm a huge newbie. But now I feel like this is something I can manage along with work and new mommy responsibilities. Again, thanks! I start on Monday,

  28. I have downloaded your Postnatal slimdown workout, it's brilliant. I had DR after the birth of my second child and I have been working really hard to heal it, my gap is now within the normal range of 1 and 1/2 finger widths. I have progressed for core 1 to core 2 but I am wondering if I need to master core 2 in order to move on to core 3 and so on? As I have just recently healed my DR I feel like I need more time to strengthen my muscles. Say for example, would repeating weeks 3 & 4 be a good idea before starting week 5?

    1. It's a great idea! Your body is the best guide in telling you. Do what you are comfortable with and what you feel you can master. All the inner core stuff took me a few months to master, but now it's automatic!

  30. Hi Lindsay! I just purchased the postnatal boot camp (1) and did my first workout. I really like it but I know that I have diastasis recti. Can I still do the core sections with some modifications? If so, what exercises should I avoid? Or do I need to get a different DVD?

    1. Evonee, hi! Postnatal Boot Camp 1 does not have all the modifications for diastasis. Go to www.postnatalcore.com and use Core 1 in the place of the core workouts on your dvd. You can also email Jess at themoms@momsintofitness.com and have her send you a code for the Postnatal Slimdown downloads - comes with all modifications for diastasis!

  31. Hi Lindsay,
First let me start by saying I love your workouts! I wish I had known about them sooner rather than doing T25. I have the postnatal slim down DVD, but have not started it yet, because I have been doing the 30 day challenge on pinterest, which ends tomorrow. Starting Monday I will be doing the actual DVD, but I am pending surgery to repair a hernia that I have. So I guess my question is will the surgery put me back to square one? I'm debating on whether I should wait until after surgery to start the DVD. I just found out about the hernia a week ago because I thought I had DR and had my OB check. The hernia does not bother me besides the way it makes my stomach look.
