  2. I have the older version, does this mean I should use it?

  3. Oh man! I just bought the other one. Wish I would have known this was coming. Are there a lot of differences? I might have to break down and buy this one too.

  5. Just signed up for the free trial and did the advanced cardio - LOVED IT!! I'm only 9 weeks and am use to doing the Pretty Fierce workouts so I am loving this new workout set! I love that it has toning separate from cardio and has splits in the advanced workouts! I was nervous about missing the variety I got from PF but this has lots of options and I have your old pregnancy DVDS to throw in the mix too! Thanks so much! I cant wait to order these!!

  6. I did the free trial for the second trimester and loved it. I've been doing the old DVD since I was 13 weeks and now I'm 21 weeks so I was ready for something new. This workout was fun and I felt it the next day! I love staying fit during pregnancy and with lindsays videos I know the workouts are safe yet the most effective. Thank you times a million Lindsay! I'm excited to see how this pays off post baby.

  7. Bummer! I was ready to buy this back in November. I had been waiting for it, but now I am almost ready to deliver. Maybe with the next baby :)

  8. Yeah!!! I have been waiting for these to come out. I have the older pregnancy videos and I bought lean out and was five weeks into it and found out that I was five weeks pregnant with my fifth. I can't wait to get these videos.

  9. Sorry I missed some of you being pregnant! These videos had been released by my producer a few months back, but I am a micro-manager and wanted to add extra, change some stuff and wait for some released research from the team I work with at the University!

The main difference with these is we split up the cardio and the toning instead of it being together as one workout. We also added muscle splits, stackers and a yoga hybrid workout for those days that 15 minutes of toning/yoga is all you can do!

  10. This is very exciting. I used the prenatal yoga DVDs for my first pregnancy and am now in my second week of the Pretty Fierce weight loss program and I LOVE it. I'm currently trying to get pregnant with my second and plan on buying this the second I get pregnant. Thanks for such great workouts programs!

  11. These pregnancy videos look great! I will possibly have to purchase them (sometime in the near future, not now!) I have been consistently doing the pretty fierce lean out videos since January and have loved my results. I am now trying to maintain, not lose. My question is about how many calories do I need each day to maintain if I am still doing the pretty fierce workouts about 3 to 4 times per week? I have been keeping a food journal inside the app, but I don't see a place I can ask the RD a question. Just a place where I can submit the journal. Thank you!

    1. Linds, yay for you! To maintain I would recommend using the BMR that was sent to you in the first email when you received your PF calendar. Then add the 190 afterburn and calories burned per workout (which is the average 350). For instance my BMR is about 1200 + 190 + 350 so I eat about 1800 cal/day.

You can submit your food journal in the app, or if you just have a question for our RD use the envelope icon at the top of this blog. Jess can put you in touch with our RD!

I hope the prego videos come knocking on your doorstep soon:)

  12. I plateaued at 145 almost 6 months ago and I am trying to breach that and get to somewhere between from 138 and 140. I went to a gym and found I am 20% body fat and the trainer suggested I start doing a TON of strength training. For example she said I should do 5 times a week with 5 minute cardio warmup with 35 ,minute strength and then 5 minute cardio at the end. It sounds good because I have never gone that heavy on strength, but I am wondering your thoughts.

    1. Strength training can definitely get you out of a plateau! But you do need to be careful about sequencing the muscles groups if you will be doing 5x/week.

I also recommend doing interval training. Alternating strength moves with cardio moves. Or do strength moves that incorporate strength. If you need help with that, try our Pretty Fiece Lean Out for free. The Upper Body Endurance workout shows you incorprating it all!

  13. Hi, lindsay
I love visiting your website.I'm planning to buy the post natal pack 2 ( advanced) , I have a doubt regarding the purchase.suppose I buy it using my android phone or iPhone, will I be able to transfer and use those videos with a pc..coz I'm find it comfortable to watch the pc and workout rather than the phone. U r doing a grt job! Keep it up

    1. Hey there! Unfortunately Google and Apple Apps have encryptions that do not allow videos from a tablet/phone to play on your PC. Trust me, we tried to submit our app that way and they would not let us! Sorry:(

  14. When you suggest sequencing muscle groups do you mean one day upper body and the nest lower or more specific like back and biceps one day then chest and triceps another....?

    1. I guess it kinda depends, it's both. I sequence our calendars in both ways to be the most effective. I feel like I did not answer your question very well...

  15. Were you still planning on sending out nutrition information to people who purchased these DVDs? The original email mentioned that I would be receiving prenatal nutrition information and postnatal freebies, but I haven't yet received either.

By the way, I'm still in the middle of using your workouts for my pregnancy, and I love them! I'm on my third pregnancy, and this is by far my best pregnancy due to your exercise DVDs(which I've been doing as you directed, religiously since week six). I have more energy and better circulation. I also gained over 50 pounds with my first two babies and am on track to gain a healthy amount this time. I can't thank you enough!

  16. I just downloaded these videos on your ipad app (very excited to see they are now available. However, I can't seem to get the calendar - I can open the calendar feature and go through the process of adding the calendar for these workouts but it doesn't work! Calendar is still blank. I also tried to look at the bonuses but they are not available." Is there another way to get calendar? Thanks so much!

    1. There was a small snafu with a prompt not appearing and asking for access to your calendar. It has been fixed, but Jess will need to show you how to give access (it is a check box some where in the mobile device general settings) Email Jess at themoms@momsintofitness.com

      Enjoy! And congrats!

  18. What are the approximate calories burned according to the advanced level schedule?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hiya! I wish I had a better answer for you but pregnancy calories burned is super hard to calculate! In general your metabolism is raised 15-20%, if that helps!

  19. I just purchased the prenatal download but I can't find the nutrition guide or the information on what are stackers and how that works on those days.

    1. Wendy, hey! You should see a video that says "Intro and Calendar". It will send you to a link so that we have your email and can email the nutrition guide (unfortunately the video section of the app makes it impossible to include pdfs). Hope that makes sense!
